Prochem Legend Gt / Oil Leak Very Bad

I have a Prochem Legend Gt bought in 2011 , the unit is 4 years old and has 2300 hours on it. I change the oil & filter every 100 hours like clock work. The machine has always run great. There has been a very slow oil leak on the rear of the machine that they call the closure plate / or like oil pan that the oil has been coming out of. It has not been leaking that much oil at all so I would just check all the time and monitor it. Well I was recently in having service done on my truck mount...

New Engine For My Truckmount?

I need you guys opinion on an engine that I have, I noticed a few months back oil was on my unit under the burner (Prochem 150). So finally took it to my regular mechanic, different mechanic could not find the problem. Anyways seals are bad, I am thinking a can of worms can be opened and for a few more hundreds I can just get a NEW engine. Engine now is 8-9 years old 18 HP Briggs V-Twin. What would you do? I am def getting a new engine!

auto pump-out problem

i have the in tank pumpout (the one in the blue box with screen on one side). it does not pump very well at all. if i have the machine idleing and no hoses on it pumps good but when i crank it up with hose and wand on it usually won't pump at all, sometimes barely a trickle but doesn't keep up. i just replaced the rule pump in it and check valve. cleaning it out didn't help. do i just have to much lift (about 15-16"hg sometimes up to 20, i need a new kunkle valve) and cfm (56 blower)? i...

Please help! ! I prochem Saber 2000 model and can't get continuous suction. Hold hand over vacuum inlet and it builds up but drops when put vac hose to it.

Prochem Legend Temperature

I've been using this prochem legend se about a year now and when they replaced the heat exchanger, it went from 250F to 230F maximum heat temperature. I called the tech. who replaced my heat exchanger and said the max. is only 230F. If more than that it's overheating. It doesn't seem right for me. does anyone had this problem before ?thanks

Prochem Legend Float Switch Troubleshooting? How To?

I finally got to run my Legend for 3 hours last night, and it really impressed me!
But when I went out to the truck, it had blown water everywhere, because the float switch didn't shut it down.
How to troubleshoot this?
Is there a relay involved, or does it just ground out the engine thru the switch?
Best place to buy a new one?
I want to get one for the pumpout anyway, even if this one is good.

Hey guys i have a question maybe someone can help us with. So our truckmount as soon as we turn the pump switch on watet is dripping out the exaust on the right side of the machine......we recently had really freezing cold temp here in Jersey but had everything covered in heavy blankets and had good heater about ten inches off the heatxchanger the whole time
Also have digital thermometer set to monitor temps......just had tm at jondon a week ago n had a clean bill of health as well......any...

Cub XL low pressure

Just bought a used Cub XL and after I got it running found that it has some water pressure but not a lot, maybe 150 lbs. The pressure gauge doesn't work so I can't tell. And the pressure can't be adjusted. I can turn the regulator in or out and the pressure remains the same...low. Any thoughts about this?

i have a prochem bruin ii and the chemical shows flow on prime but not when i use the wand.

I have a bruin ii and when I prime the chemical it shows full flow, also I have an open hose hooked up to a shutoff valve in my extra solution outlet, and when I open that the chemical shows flow, but when I use my wand or upholstery tool the chemical is not flowing. I just replaced the chemical pump for a new stainless steel upgrade, but same problem. any ideas on what is the problem?

I have a performer Bear. Yes, I know it's old, but it runs like a scalded dog! When i shut it off and before I open the waste tank discharge drain., the waste water starts running out the front of the machine.

Any Ideas?

Valve on transfer pump

The valve on my tank that transfers the water to the cleaning unit is breaking. Can these tanks be welded ? And what is inside them ? Thanks for any help and have a great afternoon.

Pressure regulator problem

Pressure regulator on my Prochem Performer doesn't go past 700Psi. Does anyone know how to fix it? I still have plenty of oil in the pressure pump. I can easily change the pressure below 700, pressure is steady, no pulsating.
I have just noticed the problem recently when I was about to start cleaning tiles, and the regulator wouldn't turn beyond 700. I didn't want to force turn it, so I just cleaned the tiles with that pressure.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Prochem will only run with choke open

Finally have my TM moved over to my new van got everything set up and for some reason my machine will only run with the choke open ? It has been ran very few hours over the last 3 months mainly just cleaning a few area rugs. But still was working fine but for some reason it only runs with the choke open if I close it will die instantly.. anyone have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Also unit is a Prochem legend se.

Performer 405 timing chain

Ok, so my P405 has this ticking & I'm pretty sure it's a loose/broken timing chain tensioner. Now I remember this engine from way back when I was a teenager in my Dat 521 P.U. but man try to find any parts supplier for this now whew! Anyways, what I'm wanting to know is, what is the common or identically interchangeable engine references for this A-15. So that when I finally do find where to get parts for it, I can just make it a lot simpler to order. Is it just an early '70's L-16 motor???...

03 Prochem Legend se excessive water pressure.

My Prochem Legend SE has excessive pressure. The pressure gage is stuck at 1500psi even with the machine off. If I connect a cleaning wand and start the machine the pressure overcomes the control valve and water flows even with the valve closed on the wand. I want to remove the pressure regulator but I have no way to relieve pressure at the pump. My high pressure shut off switch must not work either cause the machine runs with the high pressure. Two Questions would a faulty pressure...

Prochem Blazer Xl heat and vacuum loss... Help please.

Hi all,

New guy here, I have a prochem blazer xl with nearly 1000hrs.

The problem started a week ago with loss of vacuum and no heat when the machine is running.

With the vacuum port's clear and machine on full throttle it's reads in the middle of 0 and 5hg

With vacuum hose connected and on full throttle it's in the middle of 5 and 10hg

I always use to cover the vacuum hose with my hand before starting the job for 10seconds to build up the heat but now as soon I do that I can hear...

Putting new resin in a Prochem water softener

I think my water softener has needed new resin for a while. I have never been able to find a cheap, easy way to even tell if I have soft water. My machine doesn't seen to have hardly any scale related problems like I had before I got the water softener which I bought used off E-bay several years back so I don't even know how old the resin is for sure. I talked to Jondon and they gave me some info on how to replace it and it sounds like the hardest part will be getting the tank lid off and...
